Defense of Berlin
Hello, You could try a book called " Battle for Berlin/ End of the third Reich " by Earl F. Ziemke-*1968. Lots of good stuff. It also tells of many of the Russian as well as German Units involved. I do know that the 11th SS Nordland Div help defend the Reichstag and the Moltke bridge. http...

Best Division
I would vote Nordland :D Good record in combat, More medals than most the other Div.'s of the late war period. Plus they were the last men fighting in Berlin in 45. I would have to say because of their discipline. Even agianst overwhelming odds. They fought until ordered to hold fire. Afterwards the...

Crimean 12/41
Actually its just the time peroid, but it uses Steel Panthers world at war 7.1 for the battle. Double Duce runs a tournament campaign using Historical units and real maps of the region. We have to issue orders through commanders and campaign tools. Once phase one is completed and all the army's are ...

Rumanian Mountain Troops in Crimean
Hello, I am presently playing a Campaign in the Crimean 12/41. I have been researching this unit to try and identify what SS or Wehrmacht unit they may have been attached too. So far I have them listed under the 46th Wehrmacht Div. but since they were Volksdeutsch I think they may have been Waffen-S...

writing it down
In the short time that I have become a ww2 reenactor. I have found that many of the vets on both sides are eager to talk. I never hound them for this information. Usually I'm just standing guard at an event and an old soldier will walk up and start telling me where they were durring their service an...
