RAD Flag
This may seem rather run of the mill, but I am not sure of this flags specific use. Perhaps the size may be indicative ( such as in the US...a post flag, garrison flag, and so on.). When I got it, many years back, the seller proclaimed it to be a RAD Female Camp Flag. Hmmmm, Ok. I bought it because ...

Re: M 43 stick grenade...DEWAT...and deless...
Well, a re sized photo...sorry for the delay. I regret that some do not find the price acceptable, as I do try to review the various sales and consignment sites and price my items accordingly, and most often lower. The things I am letting go have been in the collection for up to 30 years or more.......

98K pouch-brown
Original WWII German 98K ammo pouch..Marked "Karl Barth-Waldbrol" "1937". Luftwaffe..? Maybe...Brown leather. Early model. Pouch pockets are firm, but when first found, at a flea market in the 1980s, it was loaded with six clips of 98K ammo, which had corroded, and the clips were...

Osprey and Schiffer books
The following Osprey books are extra copies....after years you get so many...anyhow some may be inscribed on the top or bottom edges as I would make use of shelve space by setting them on edge, and I could read the title as written on the ends. Otherwise they are in excellent condition, some are bra...

M 43 stick grenade...DEWAT
Model 43 stick grenade....DEWAT (deactivated war trophy) Handle marked "44 gck", Head stencil marked "gck" (inside thread well) and "Do 7/1944". BZE igniter surmounts the head, and threaded part of fuze is frail, so not really for playing with at that reenactment..... O...

Re: Gebirgsjäger Rucksack: How to pack it?
Albert, After 28 years in SF, and 30 reenacting (sometimes doing Gebirgs impressions), and humping a lot of rucksacks in the Uhwarrie, Appalachian and Rocky Mtns, I might put my two cents in. The books mentioned thus far are all great references, but you may also find individual memoirs, such as &qu...

PHOTOS .... Is there is anyone working on books dealing with the Heer in the west, anything on the 6th SS Gebirgs, and some Ost images. I have a lot of images that my Dad's uncle brought back, groupings from individual soldaten, typical buddy shots, deployment to the west(in 1940?), shot out T-34s, ...

5. /A.R. 70 ARTY SEARCH....
My first post......and a weak start at that. I have an M-35 helmet with the name "Kan. Heiber, 5. / A.R. 70" . I have done some looking here and there, but no firm data so far. Does anyone out there know about Heer Artillery Regts.? I would like to know more about where, are to which unit ...
