I fired the Cz24 last time i was in the Czech Republic (about a month ago) in a gun club in Prague. I don't know how similar the sights were, but the rest of the rifle is very like the K98. I'm not a sniper, but i wouldnt say i was a bad shot, gaining some shooting awards in my CCF and scoring well ...

In The Forgotten Soldier Guy Sajer says something about the volksturm having a really good rifle and definately means that one, whether his report is to be trusted is up to you, personally i believe his story, most probaly because i really enjoyed it and want to, but there a quite a few inacuracies ...

As far as i kno, Wiking had the curved swastika on their tabs, all the info ive read in the past and the few pictures ive seen of them have given me no reason to think the contrary, but there may be exceptions,

Argh! just looking at that enrages me! Even the smallest inacuracies like the collar insignia and eagles on wrong arms makes me extremely angry! These people get millions for these games and they cannot even be bothered to do proper historic research! I am somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes d...

GD 1940 and 1941

In this period, what vechiles would the GD have used? I know they were Infanterie Regiment Grossdeutchland (mot.), so does this mean that they had just lorries and no SPWs? From which divsions would they be likely to have tank support and were they still organised, on a squad basis, as Panzergrenadi...
