Rich, i'd like to thank you for being patienced to answer all my questions.
It all has become clear for me, but it seems that some things just cannot be solved. Also because of the loss of several documents.

Thank you Ron!

This is some very good information, I had the feeling that they did had StuG IV's. The photos showed in the book "the Panzer and the battle of Normandy, by Georges Bernage" did not lie.

Only the information is little, but correct.

Can you find anymore information, if other battalions/kompanies had StuG III, or/and StuG IV?

To me this doesnt say the Heimdal book is wrong.

Thank you,

Koen

Brecourt Manor battery

On the internet you can find loads of information about the American assault on Brecourt manor, my question is what is the german story behind this, which german unit operated the Battery?

I have several clues, but i'd like to be sure about it.

Luftlande Division, Artillerie Regiment 191

Does someone had more information related to the AR 191,

I have read in a report, that several elements of the AR 191 where stationed at st mairie du mont during D-day, they fled west wards.
Where they the ones that also defended the Brecourt manor batteries?
