Not just the USMC but the US Army (in Europe and Pacific) as well. I have talked to vets from both theaters of war and they have both talked of the Springfield being used as a sniper rifle.bradhunter wrote:

the Wikipedia source for Pavlov's house is not too reliabel, Wikipdeia is NOT reliable. The Wehrmacht would have been more clever at infantry tactics than that.
