I noticed that I mixed up 251/2 and 251/3 in the above posts. The 251/2 (Gw) in schwere Kp is a type 44 phenomen. The units mentioned above should read 251/3 (Fu).

Hello It seems that Skorzeny didn't have a very clear picture on the Ardennes regarding the SS-Fallschirmjäger. Besides the Kompanie from Jagdverband Mitte, one to four Companies are mentioned in his various post war statements. Does anybody have hard data how many Companies were up front in the end...
