Actually the 88 is not in firing position. The gun is still on its wheels. To fire precisely wheels should be removed.

What does v Companies in the Pz.Reg. mean? m might be medium - mitte, but v, Pz. V?

The Finnish battalion, III.(finn.)/SS-Rgt. "Nordland" had a Finnish chaplain that was killed in action. He had a "cover duty" as liaison officer. There were no restrictions of his relegius ceremonies, however.

Here's a couple of recent pictures taken from the Israeli side.
This valley became famous in the Yom Kippur War 1973. Israelis gave it a nick-name "The Valley of Tears".
The place is about 20 km north of Kuneitra.
