Does the soldbuch mention what unit Hptm Adam was Staffelkapitän of - or indeed the full listing of units he served with and when?

Re: Ju-52 /3m Wasser
Dag nab it - I just edited the above, pressed "save" and the system decided against my editing. So here it is again. There were a lot more than 27 aircraft - KüFlGr 906 provided 19 He 59s alone (9 from 1./906 and a further 10 from 3./906). As for the Ju 52/3mg5e ("Wasser") the fo...

Re: Ju-52 /3m Wasser
Just 8./KGzbV 108 was equipped with the Ju 52 - all the rest were He 59s that had been acquired from training and KüFlStaffeln.
Originally, 10 Ju 52s were secured for service during the campaign, but others did filter in through the course of Apr - June '40.

Re: KMS Bismarck and KMS Prinz Eugen
The fundamental issue is whether or not the lucky torpedo strike would have occurred at all if both ships were still sailing together. So the question becomes; cruising together, does the Bismarck suffer the damage in the first place or: a)is the added weight of PE's AAA enough to drive off or shoot...
the by-now rather battered Luftwaffe - who would have been VERY badly attrited by first achieving the air superiority necessary to LAUNCH the invasion - and by logic mauled even further by loosing it again to the RAF permitting the defeat of the invasion alon...

Leutnant zür See Broili
Does anyone have any information on a Lt.z.S Broili who participated in the capture of HMS Seal as part of 1./906?
I'm after first name, fate, service appointments - anything. Alternatively, if anyone knows a forum where I may find this information, I'd be greatful
TIA

He was Chief of the General Staff, or at least that was his final position before his suicide in '43. He was responsible not only for operations but also for all basic decisions relating to the implementation of the air strategy as laid down by the Chiefs of the General Staff. Overall area of respon...

Soviet peace offer 1941
E.R. Hooten says in Eagle in flames (page 100) that after the defeat at Kieve Stalin was prompted to offer the Germans a peace settlement similar to the Brest-Litovsk agreement of 1918. Can someone be more specific in what the details of the peace settlement were, exactly.
Thanks in advance,

Sorry, should have been a bit more specific. When I refered to the G variant I was talking mid '44 onwards, from what I have here in front of me. Initial orders for WNF were received on 15 August 1938 to build E-2s. On 1 January, one for 190 Bf 109E-3s for delivery between June 39 and Sept 40, and 2...

Further to the above, it seems that the Neustadt plant produced only the G variant of the 109 and the manufacturers identification (on ID plate) was 'hmt'. As for Me 210 production, I couldn't find anything that Weiner Nuestadt built any but the Hungarians certainly did. Between Nov 42 and Mar 45 86...
