I doubt that there is a causal relation between the British attacks on Berlin and the German attacks on London .

What do people think of this book ?
My opinion is that it is only a lot of nonsense .Germany did not have the possibility to be east of Moscow in the autumn of 1941 .

Why are people still biased against Italy claiming that the Italians were only a burden for Germany ? He would even have no day, not one hour, because 1 The forces of the Pas de Calais were useless in Normandy, because they were qualitatively and quantitatively weaker than the forces in Normandy who were weaker than the Allies . 2 It was logistically impossible to transport the PdC forces to Normand...

Keitel was de facto minister of war, a function he exercised not incompetentedly.There were several officers who could replace him,but not Guderian and Manstein who were prima donnas without administrative competence .

4000 men were lost at Crete,there were also losses in Norway, the Netherlands and the mainland of Greece .

I would advise against reading The Fall of the Third Republic:sadly enough a lot of trees were sacrified to publish this nonsense .

The book is not new : it was already published in German in 2002

Maegen was born in 1922 in Eupen ,a German speaking part of Prussia that was annexed in 1919 by Belgium,in 1971 he became German .
