Re: Prohorovka/Lawrence

OK Well just walked in from work and found a package for me. Opening it I found the biggest book I have ever seen. Just flipping through it, it is an enormous book. And if even at 1651 pages is not enough the pages are double column! So more like 2500 pages plus of reading. Bravo Mr. Lawrence Bravo....

I cannot seem to find this info anywhere and was not sure if the used letters like the Infantry companies or numbers simi...

Re: Manual on Russian Army

Maddog, As Mr Gillono states, The Charles Sharp 12 volume set is the best for your needs. There is a 1 volume book "Red Army Handbook" that is not bad but the Sharps volumes are comprehensive. They are just one of the tools I use for my wargame design, along with the BSSA, the 36 volume pe...

Re: Manual on Russian Army

I guess my question to you is what information are you be looking for about the Red Army. I coculd steer...

Just some info, the Danville Armor Museum bought most of the vehicles you see there from a museum that was originally on Long Island in NY. The private collector their sold it maybe about 7-8 years ago to someone in Va I was told so obviously this is the place. I had been to that museum many times a...

Jan,

I tried searching for these at some German book dealers but had no luck.
Do you know of a place where these can be ordered?

Thanks

Jason, I am for the idea. As someone who has always posted under my real name, I always disliked the political discussions with everone ranting and raving all under fake handles. To me if your real name is displayed with your comments it will make you think twice about what you are saying. I think t...

Where there are out and out errors in the OOB we fix them in the updates. (on a side note, everytime a new game is release with new features we update the entire line back to the first game with the new features) But we have not gone back to completely redoing the OOBs of past games. We are always w...

Mark, I can tell you that I did the Soviet OOB for Kursk and I used a combination of the BSSA and The Kursk Data Base info from Dupuy. Unit wise it is pretty accurate but I now have better info on all of the divisional subunits numbers then I had at the time. (IE. I have much better primary Soviet m...

Robert,

I searched World-Cat for NARA RG242 or NARA Record Group 242 with the addition of T313 and got no hits. Do you know what you or your librarian used for a search?

Thanks Robert!

I knew I saw something here a while back that it was possible. I had tried to search for it but came up empty handed. If I do not have any luck then its time to buy a few rolls but I wanted to try this out first.
