Hi I think that is the verb. Erkundung = to scout; Erkunder = the scout. Späh = to scout; Späher = the scout Auflärung = to scout; Auflärer = the scout But I could be wrong. I'm certainly not fluent in German. Thanks :D Well, "Erkundung" is the noun, like the "reconnaissance" (same for "Aufklärung")...
