As a belgian i have to say battle of the bulge is the worst for me. The sight of those bare hills make me feel quite uneasy. Therefore thank god for band of brothers. What is wrong with saving private ryan? Ok the end is over the top but still.

I just remebered. Some elzasiens were even implicated in oradour sur glaine massacre. Again i saw this on t.v. so i'm not totally sure. I believe they were forced to join up, but i don't know the details. So they wouldn't even have to have been german or in the foreign legion.

Don't forget about the elzas either. (i saw this in afrench movie once).
