Hi Reb,

Napoleon didn't win at Waterloo. Waterloo is a song performed by the swedish group Abba in the 70's. This song was so famous that England decided to give its name to a railway station. The famous Waterloo station. :D

Hi Tom, Some people in France say that Napoleon and Bonarparte belongs to the same family. Personnaly, I don't think so because they don't have the same name. Maybe Bonaparte was beheaded but I'am sure that Napoleon was poisoned. :D Edouard Herriot, a french politician of the first half of the 20th ...

The only other army to do this during WW2, in the ETO, was the French Army and even then, it was a localised practice sanctioned by a particularly rabid general pandering to his Arab troops. PK Not arab but moroccan troops. The town was Freudenstadt. Friendship town ! Not at this time. Historical a...

Hi Tom, I told you before. For speaking a french working in 75% of all the situations, you must know only three words : oui, non and merde. Meanwhile, Take care because you can have many combinations. Example : - Could you lend your car to me ? - Merde ! - ok but it's merde oui or merde non ? I gues...

Hi Tom,

I wonder if the japaneses can do the same for the "gaijin" trying to speak in Nihongo.
One example : Kan.yu or Kan.yuu ( an invitation and some cod-liver oil). Frankly, I don't want to receive the first for drinking the second.
Can you or Kan.yu ? :D

Hi, I wonder if there is a "porn belt" in the David's vision of the american geography ? :D It's strange for myself, not in Feldgrau, I'am spammed by Meetic and Co telling me there is a man waiting for me and this man thinks that I will be the woman right for him. The only problem is that ...

Hi, Probably french canadian soldiers. In France, we never use the word "advice" before firing. By the way, if the rocket doesn't start, this ATGM is just a PIAT. At least, this weapon is good for running away. I hope it was only an inert missile. At what distance from the launcher, the wa...

Hi Tom , Didn't somebody once make a comment about diplomacy coming out of the end of a rifle? Mr Spock in Star Trek said there was an old proverb on his planet : "Only Nixon could go to China" It was an episode where the captain Kirk had to make peace with the Klingons. Kirk fought...
