that is awful that the country would distroy that history. But the winners always write history. Probably don't want any stuff around to contradict them.

I got this book a few weeks ago as well. and i have recently started reading it. I purchased it b/c i though that it would talk about the soldiers . guess i was kinda wrong.

I'd love to trade for that helmet. but I don't have anything german. I just recently started collecting and I only have access to modern canadian badges.

i can't find the pictures. if you can send me a direct link for the helmets i would like to see them. are they german ww2 ? if so, are you trading them? and what are you looking to trade for?

OK Ok.. hmmm The BEST movie to portray german soldiers, in my opinion, was Stalingrad. Needless to say that I bawled my eyes out when Fritz died...

My appologizes. If you are still looking for an image i can scan the ones that I have. one is a barrack pic. one is of three german soldiers goofing around, one i'm not sure what it is, and the other is a group of artillary soldiers.

It's on a white background now. i hope that works. it was meant to be dark, like a figure in the nighttime.. it's so much easier to draw when you limit the details *laughs*

no. They were posted online and i saved some of them because they were very nice pictures. I only personally own five of them. But if the image was posted online for people to view I don't see why it wouldn't be alright to use. I could also contact the owner of them.. I don't think it would be too h...

i guess he's just a figment of the imagination. although if he did live it could be just a misinterpretation of his name and there were other countries that fought beside germany. maybe he wasn't even german. who knows.
