Another possibility would be either a CZ27 or a Mauser HSc pistol.

You may wish to visit http://www.gunboards.com for more detailed information, there is a section on the GB forum that is de...

Hot Motors, Cold Feet

I've just read "Hot Motors, Cold Feet" by the late Helmut Gunther of the 2nd SS Division. This in my opinion was a very good book, and found it very interesting. I understand the publisher, J.J. Fedorowicz is supposed to publish Herr Gunther's second book, "Eyes of the Division" ...

Great Book!

I've just finished reading this book, and I am very impressed with it! This book ranks as one of my favorite memoirs from the German perspective in WWII. The author explains why he wanted to join one particular branch of the Wehrmacht, but failed the medical exam, and then joins the SS. He doesn't g...

Thanks for the review

Thanks for the review of the book, I had to think about spending the money for this one, and decided to give it a chance, and mailed my money order off for this one. Haven't received it yet, but I can't wait for it to arrive in the mail!

The Yugoslavians at first reworked captured German K98 rifles. They completely scrubbed almost all of the German proofmarks on these rifles, though one could find a Yugo reworked K98 with faint German markings. I believe the M48 came along at a later time. Since there is a difference in the size of ...

My other German collection is focused on East German militaria, medals, and badges. With my DDR collection, I have a strong interest in the Reichsbahn, and Fores...
