If it were only that easy. If you live in Europe, you could try finding former battle sites and do some digging(if legal). You might find it the good old fashioned way.

It is sad the misconceptions and myths of the Germans during WWII. Many think they were some superior godly warriors. These misconceptions are still widely thought today too.

Pope Benedict XVI in uniform.

Can someone verify if this is the Pope in German uniform.... An article I read indicated he was in the HItler Youth in 1941, an AA Battery in 1943 and then drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1945. He then deserted. Can someone ID the uniform? It looks like a Luftwaffe eagle on the breast. Regards, B HOlm...
