Does anyone know where Gordojewo is located? I still have not been able to find it.

Any idea when/if a follow-on to Riding East: The SS Cavalry Brigade in Poland and Russia, 1939-42, will be published. I am very interested in the locations/actions of January 1943.

I am looking for information as to what was the mission of the unit from October 1942 to January 1943 and can someone recommend a book to read about the unit/mission.

Thanks for the response. I have several pictures taken on board the boat, including one of the Commandant, but none of the boat. I tried to paste them here but it would not let me. I will try again if someone tells me how to add the pictures.
