Re: Foreign volunteers Stamps
Anyone have a photo of the Croatian Iron Division Sheet and the Michel # ? I would like to purchase one. Thanks, AHK Is this the sheet you're referring to? This cover is scarce and very difficult to find on cover. This expertized example is from my collection and is pictured on Rene Chavez's site.

Re: SD Einsatzkommando Postcard
This card is 1 of 6 in this particular series and was created using images in Poland in 1939.
Strictly speaking, these are not the same Einsatzgruppen units we come to think of operating in Russia.
A nice item.

My suggestion is to obtain a copy of Michel's Deutschland Spezial Katalog. Every issue is listed together with the known varieties. As in anything collectible, condition is always a concern. Stamps with missing perfs, corners and thins will be worth a fraction of what a better condition stamp is. Be...

Here in the US, 45K is *not* a bad price. There are those collectors who would gladly pay it. Here's the problem though. Unless this particular weapon was here in the US back in May, 1986 and it was legally registered then, there is no way to import this example back into the US now. The law strictl...

Hitler, Mussolini and Chamberlain are in a boat in the middle of a lake fishing. Mussolini becomes impatient and jumps in the lake and scoops up his catch of fish by hand. Chamberlain just sits and patiently pays out his line and awaits a bite. Hitler stands up and orders the lake to be drained. Soo...

Well, you certainly have lived down to my expectations. Forget about reading all different points of view and then taking the time to weigh, consider, and synthesize your information. Screw that. Just go through life asking inane questions of people who have taken the time to study what the experts ...

Re: Magda
The assumption is that Magda was of German origin, but the name possibly might suggest that she may have been non german, has anyone background on her? :?: Munchener Have you done any reading about Goebbels and his family? The information is there for you to find. You tend to show a singular lack of...

I alluded to this in my post concerning the domination of post war Germany.munchener wrote:Is there also the possibility that Magda even though she agreed to a NS state she couldn't bear the thought or her children growing up under Communism?I seem to get this to be the general impression here. I really think you need to read some easily available books about the last days in the Bunker. You will quickly realize that the cult of the Führer was still pervasive up to the very last. The SS presence was pervasive. As the end ground ever closer, the fate of these children was not as much a conc...
