Hi munchener, Magda did know what she was doing. She was thorougly acting according to her world view. She had a deep and abiding love for Hitler. In fact, it was Bormann who commented in his characteristically caustic way that when she was around Hitler, you could hear her ovaries rattle. Believe m...

Do you mean, was Hitler promiscuous? I know of no evidence that he was, after all Eva Braun was there for the asking. Being a charasmatic leader who wielded the trappings of power in both the symbolic and actual senses of the word was certainly an aphrodisiac then as it is today. Many women found hi...

The simple answer is the Goebbels did not want their children to grow up in a Germany that was no longer a NS state. Life simply would not have meaning for them. The defeat of the NS Ideals meant the end of the life Goebbels had given so much effort to create and maintain. In such a world no longer ...

Genuine examples of the Polar Bear sheet that have been expertized frequently appear on eBay.de and can generally be had for reasonable sums. Try Robert Brunel. Limiting yourself to a retail outlet can cost you unnecessarily.

PK, Apparently, you're unfamiliar with the term mensch. In the context I am using it, it nothing to do with being hip or ideological. It does have everything to do with being a human being. Perhaps your life experiences have wrung compassion, understanding and patience towards another person out of ...

Arne, Many thanks for your solitary efforts to keep this stamp forum from becoming moribund. I love the card you illustrated and translated. Kudos to you. If I could learn how to post illustrations, I would gladly join you in showing some very interesting material from 1933 to 1945 Germany and Occup...

PK

As is your usual style for abruptness, you do come across as snotty.

Next time try sending a PM. The OP has only 2 posts and is most likely uncertain. Try being a little more of a mensch.

I don't know if this would work for you.

On eBay there is a scale model kit for sale of the Nebelwerfer 41 that might be of interest to you. Perhaps you could scale up from the model.

The lot number is 5938546769.

Hope this might work for you.

Hello geisa, I do have complete years of Der Freiwillige back to the 1950's. The collection is nearly complete. I wish I had the time to go from issue to issue to see what, if any info, might be available. When I have the opportunity, I will see what I can find. The truth is, my search efforts will ...

I have to agree with Lacplesis, Some of the best food I have had in England has been Pub fare. The ploughman's lunch at the John Barleycorn pub located in Duxford adjacent to the Imperial War Museum located at the former Duxford RAF Station. The pickeled onion and white cheddar cheese together with ...
