L.A.H officer

i know this is bit of a long one, but would anyone know of a officer in the L.A.H who spoke good english with american accent and served with the division in the 1940 campaign and then moved to the Hitlerjugend for the battle of the normandy.

ah yes i have seen that and did not consider you where after that picture.there is also several pictures of tiger 1 number 308 with 502 heavy abteilung and yes my friend that is a russian number added for counting how many wrecks there are. check the russian battlefield site for a whole load german ...

sorry did nt mean to say my life and experiances are any less valid than yours , but when someone has experianced similar things he does have a more valid point than someone who has not. sorry thats just a fact of life. i do not see why there is criticism of this book. its about one mans experiance ...

sorry but you obviously have never been involved in war conventional or otherwise or you would have got the thread. guy sajer wrote the book as his version of events as he sawthe the it,its obviously not a unit history. films like private ryan are entertainment and to producers realisum is expensive...

i have not seen your particular picture but the only known photo of a tiger 1 with the number 308 belongs to schwere panzer abteilung 502.there is a photo under german mangament and several under russian, check out sPzAbt 502 post s and im sure you will find your picture, hope this helps

when you are about to hit a load of guys you dont ask for the make of vehicle and who they are, there the enemy get on with it. add a few years and things become even more blurred. more @#% upon more @#% and then you want an accurate record of what the vehicle was or what coloured socks some regimen...

every time i click on an interesting post like this or the defeat of LAH at vezprem i get block text of blue letters copied from a book, not the balanced information we usually get ,like the thread on hill 112. it seems igorn that you just want to cause argument. maybe you could use your time search...
