I just ordered the book entitled "The Battle of Britain (Royal Air Force Official Histories)" by T. C. G. James and Sebastian Cox. Anyone have a comment on this book? Also, if you know any good books on the Battle of Britain it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a book that goes into depth about Nazi jet research/ rocket propulsion. V1 and V2 would be obvious here, but I am also looking for something more too. When I say jet propulsion, that can include luftwaffe aircraft and other avant garde projects of the third reich. Thanks for the help.

Those figures dont seem right. I mean, look at it from a English perspective 174 cm is about 5 foot 8 inches. Himmler was 5 foot 9 inches. Either Im seriously having a bad day with math...or there must be some other reason...

Ever notice that the two greatest ww2 flicks (Das Boot and Stalingrad) were both produced/made by the Royal Film Company (Bavarian Based). It seems that the Germans have the right charisma! They only lack quantity. Although maybe thats what makes Stalingrad and Das Boot special: specific/well played...

something of a similar note: In chicago a Roumanian Ex-Nazi/ Group Leader was denyed US Citizenship based on his past history and his involvment with totenkopf. The trial is currently in process but it is doubtful that he will recieve citizenship. Seems like our past catches up to us sooner or later...
