Did some research and turns out PiBtl.71 of the 50. ID was attached to the 295. ID at Stalingrad...this means this guy I'm researching was a Stalingrad, Krim, Kuban, France, and Poland veteran...Cooooooool...

Do you know if any parts (specifically Pionier-Bataillon 88) of the 46. ID were sent to Stalingrad? I don't beleive any were but I'm not an expert on this.
