Hello,
maybe it is worth noting that my book "Die Löwen von Carentan", available through VS-Books, Amazon, etc. will have an almost complete listing of the names you are interested in.

best regards,
Volker

Hello,
since I am the author of bespoken book on FJR6, I recommend to wait another month for the German language version. Heimdal has made some minor mistakes which the German version naturally will not show.

best regards,
Volker Griesser

Hello,
sorry to contradict the Doc, but it was "Hänschen Klein".
Look for it at http://www.ingeb.org and you will find all you need.

Hello, maybe one of my points was not clear enough: for a series for which the makers went so much out of their way as to procure the right type of boots for the main characters, it should have been easy enough to look into portraying the methods of fighting of the Germans accurately. Let's face it,...

Hello, I'm not aware of any cross-posting between a Fallschirmjäger-Regiment and HG, but it is quite possible, that a FJ battalion was attached to HG to give an additional punch to the division. The photos of the "mimick jackets" you've seen are likely to be the camouflaged Luftwaffe groun...

Hello Rudi, thank you very much for the information. A reenactor friend wants to get permission to officially call his outfit GD, so he wants to get in touch and see if he can establish good relationships with the GD veterans. My dear Achill, yes, I think, I have watched BoB long enough to come to the conclusion that the series is not better than the book and that there were too many inaccuracies to make it not much better than an average episode of the Combat-Series. It is clear that the 101st paratroopers as protagonist...

Hello, guys, don't worry, BoB is just another flag-waving series which had lots of great potential, but which was blown, because the good guys had to look perfect on screen. The errors and inaccuracies in the book on which the series was based were truly transferred into the episodes, so it cannot b...

Hello, I am not aware of a special "shotgun-jump" model of parachute being used by the German paratroops. Veterans confirm that the jumps on Narvik were made from as low as 80 meters, but that was as low as you could possibly go if you wanted the jump to be safe. What is your exact questio...
