Re: Review:It Never Snows In September

Oops. Sorry readers. I meant tome in my last posts, post script, as a tomb would be a place to file away the Faux Pass as it would not be quite right.

Re: Forum Hero Tales book now for sale!!

Hi D, This is the first I heard of this? What have I been doing that I have been out of circulation for such a time as to have missed this important milestone, you ask? Well that will be an adventure just telling it! Lets say, South Florida had something to do with it and leave it at that!!! I will ...

Re: Review:It Never Snows In September

This was a great book and extraorinary read. Although I read this some months ago, after stumbling on this post, I had to comment. I found this book very factual and enlightening from the German paratroopers perspective. Having read a great many books about elite soldiers in wartime. I thought this ...

Re: Where's Adolf???

Phylo,

Didn't they find Bormann's remains in Berlin in the 1970s, I think I remember reading? And substantiated in the 1990s?

Even with the "Red Clay" vs "Yellow Clay" issue, what is the consensue here at Feldgrau? Conspiracy Theory or Political Whitewash?

Best,

Re: Breslau 1945

Hello Richard,

I haven't read any of your other books as yet, but I am looking forward. I have been a student of military history for many years and have a vast library.

Keep up the good work and best wishes on this excellent topic (what I've read so far).

Best Regards,

Re: So....My Tank Corps in Prussia...

Re: So....My Tank Corps in Prussia...

David,

I second what Tom said. Words like: Great, superlative, and excellent just don't seem to cut it...

This will make a great bit of fiction.

It sounds like you are formulating a game plan.

Now you're talking....

Re: So....My Tank Corps in Prussia...

David, When I started in Technical communications my "box" crashed and I lost about 5 hours of work. I set my "tools" to catch and save after 10 minutes always now. The company I worked for previously used to be downstream from a river and we always seemed to get "Wet" ...

Hi David and Forum Heros,

This is very funny stuff...great satire, self depreciation and kameraden bonding. I like it! :D

I noticed today was my 1 year anniversary on Feldgrau. Feldgrau for alle, Alle fur Feldgrau! :D :D :D

Thanks for making me feel welcome and thanks for the great year all.
