Kurt Albert Rust, who wrote a book on the 15th PGD in Italy, used to be active in the Kameradschaft. I think he lived in Northern Germany or Berlin.

If I am correct, a book that I have read many years ago: Giorgio Bonacina, Comando bombardieri, Longanesi, contended that Italian houses being mostly built out of bricks and stones and not so much of wood (as in Germany) had a better chance to withstand incendiary bombs.
