Thanks for the link, i cant seem to identify the collar tab, colour of tab is important but black and white picture does not help in this regard. Do you have an opinion on what rank or unit it could be, i need to study this link closer before i can come to a conclusion.

Thanks for the reply David and Albicht. Yes if you find any maps of either 41 or 43 in this area i would be interested. I probably should write a letter asking for info from the sources you provided, you never know what could be in the archives.
