I've never seen this either, but the symbols suggest Naval torpedo engineers (designers? mechanics?).

The magazine impressed me sufficiently to become a subscriber. I passed it around my wargaming club and several people asked for the contact info - they were impressed. Jason - nice article on the 7th, I'm looking forward to part 2. Now if someone would just do one on one of my favorites - the 11th ...

Well, that's what I mean - where do you hang out - Midtown, the Village, Hell's Kitchen? Just don't tell me the Upper East Side!

I've read in at least two places (just don't ask me to remember where) that the MG34 on its tripod stand was capable of indirect fire. However, I've never come across any account of it actually being used that way. Anyone else?

Traudl Junge paints a rather different picture of the Führer's meals - spare and vegetarian, to be sure, but not quite so boring as Hanfstängl makes it out to be. Check out her book (Der untergang" was "inspired" by it for some very interesting, and sometimes surprising, character stu...

Women captured on the eastern front were far from being "back area" help. The Russians had a lot of women in their front-line units - as fighting troops. I've come across female Anti-tank gun crews, female submachine gun troops and female Sturmovik and fighter pilots among the Russian forc...
