Luftwaffe Gebirgjaeger

Does anyone have any info regarding Luftwaffe gebirg troops or pics of gebirg kitted luftwaffe personnel.

Currently on ebay.de there are some interesting pics of Luftwaffe troops with Bergmutzes and edelweiss badges attached.

Thanks in advance.

16 kompanie was actually Regiments-Kampfzug, never equipped with bicycles at all and was used as a mini "firebrigade" unit under direct command of Heydte.

Flak Regiment "Hermann Goering"

Desperately need info on a HG unit that would have used towed 20mm Flak in or around the Italian campaign - we are a UK HG re-enactment group that need to get our vehicles and flak done with the correct tactical markings in time for Beltring.

Thanks in advance

Hermann Göring Division Training and Replacement Regiment

Anybody have an Idea of what these troops would have worn - particularly during the Arnhem battles. I am specifically interested as to wether they had Fliegerbluses or 4 pocket tunics - collar patches on white or just gulls - cuff titles etc? Any photographic evidence would be superb! thanks in adva...

FpN for Kampfgruppe Von der Heydte

Does anyone know what the Feldpost nummer was for Kampfgruppe Von der Heydte. Or because of its short lived nature, did they keep their parent Fallschirmjäger unit numbers?

I think the most likely thing would be abuse of medical supplies to get high, rather than go to all the trouble of heroin etc, just use morphine - taken from a prisoner of war's kit maybe? Pure speculation obviously - great question though.

I have heard that the Hermann Goring Div were issued them, this was from a vet, but I am afraid I have no photgraphic evidence to back this.
