'That he had ordered such terrible things, I just couldn't believe it,' she said. 'Even now, I prefer to remember the charming facets of his personality
That seems to be the same attitude that allowed the whole mess to start to begin with..

Re: Sturmgewehr 44

Trying to find the web link again. There is a company in Germany making a semi version remake. Swear that was the price listed at the web. I will post as soon as I find it.

Re: Sturmgewehr 44

Thanks Gents,

I did some Googling and finally found the website posted. Too bad I can't buy one when I am in Germany next month. The website listes them for only 298 Euro. That's a tad bit cheaper than the list price in the US of $4998!

Sturmgewehr 44

Re: College kid builds Tiger

That is awesome, but the fuel cost would be crazy. I would still go for the 1/6 scale or even the 1/4 scale Tiger.

He has a USMC LAV that is also amphibious (there is video of it).

Re: College kid builds Tiger

The battleship project is awesome also. I remember this from a while back.

The You Tube for the College kids project also has some great links to some video of the Tiger at the Bovington Tank museum and then branches out to a whole lot of other stuff. Got to love You Tube!

Christian, I realize you are not judging, but apologizing does not necessarily determine guilt. Plus, this article reports only the account given by the Italians. "Two young Americans approached our officer and, demoralized, repeatedly apologized for what had happened," Fini said. (Fini, t...
