Nicolas - http://www.wehrmacht-polacy.pl/
Use google translate to browse trough the webpage which in my opinion is very interesting.
You can also of course use - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poles_in_the_Wehrmacht
Hope it helps!

Re: Pillbox in warsaw ?
This is so called Tobruk bunkers (or Ringstand 58c). There were 60 or so of them built in Warszawa and as far as I know around half of them is still there (like the one above). One - taken out of the ground - can be seen in the Museum of Warsaw Uprising.

Re: KAMPFGESCHWADER 1 – Poland 1939.
He.111 from KG 1 took part only in the air raids on 1 IX on Puck and Rumia, and on 2 IX on Westerplatte.
Are you sure that photo is depicting He.111 V4+FA downed near Mrotschen?! For me it looks like that plane is damage much more then 50%...

Re: German seaborn landing against Hela (1939) - info needed.
Hello all, as for the seaborn operation I would love to know what vessels would be used to carry the troop to either Gdynia or Hel (I omit the possibility of the landing on the beaches as pure S-F). Bill - is there anything in the KTB about the general assault on Hel Peninsula in October? In Polish ...

Re: German Army 1st september 1939
In assignments of some of the Staff officers there is only written:
Ia, Ib, Ic,
IIa
III
IVa, IVb, IVc, IVd
or
OI, OII, OIII
What does it mean?!

Re: Fate of Grenzschutz Regiments 32 and 42?
Dear Bill, thank you very much for help  Though since I'm completely dumbass in reading those military symbols I would like to ask if I'm reading it correctly: - are Sp 42 and Sp 32 pionier battalions?! What 'Sp' stands for?! - why one of the Sp 32 battalions does not have any number?! - why o...

Re: German Army 1st september 1939
Here is Division Eberhardt , according to Bellin's book the names changed from Landespolizeiregiment 1 and 2 to 243 and 244 Infanterieregiment on 1-9- 1939. I have come across other names as well however. Danziger IR 1 and 2 for example.. I hope someone can shed some more light on the correct names...
