Igor I do not know if you can get reprints of the STAVKA reports from the 1939-45 war. In the west they have been available for various dates. You will I think be surprissed by their content, especially the winter ones. The 1942-43 report makes it very clear that in 1941-42 there was insufficient wi...

Have not got much information. I place it in Italy, most probably in the 14th Army, Not much bigger than a small K.Gr., by the looks of its probable strength. 114.Jäg.Div. [Fought well in Italy] Formed Autumn 1942 in Yugo-Slavia from 714.Inf.Div.(bo.). Jäg.Rgt.721 Jäg.Rgt.741 Art.Rgt.661 Aufkl.Abt.1...

I may be very wrong, however I would think that during the winter 41/42 that the average Russian was not well equipped.

A major exception would be the divisions that came from Siberia. Almost certainly they at least initially would have been very well equipped.

If you know the gun type I might just if you are lucky be able to give a list of likely units.

I have no unit listed in the Balkans, however it has to be said that my information is sketchy.

Issues

Interesting about no issues. I think if I had to place money on it I would go for Marder I. Most seem to have gone to France. I know that some ended up in Russia, but that was with a unit that had been in France. Would issues show those that were simply transferred within France from one unit to ano...

The Marder I with the 7,5cm was mainly issued to units in France. Some found there way to Russia when units moved from France to Russia. Try in particular divisions that had been in France from 1942 on, and in particular those in France from the beginning of 1944, with particular reference to the 70...

Sorry no information, my notes say the same, went to the division.

I cannot believe that it was not reformed, at that stage in the war it would not make sence.
