Kfz 4 with twin MG
I would like to know if anyone has some info on this vehicle. Any specs you have. I know it was assigned to early war panzer units as mobile AA but searches on the web have turned up zilch for me. I don't even know what it looks like. Note: A few game sites had returns from the search engines, but g...

Flamethrowers
I'm looking for some info on how many flamethrowers in a unit were employed by the Germans in 1939. Were they assigned to the Pioneer battalion of a division? Were they assigned per company or in a section at the battalion level?
Thanks
Thanks

Anyone know what rank Generals Anthony C. McAuliffe ande James Gavin held in September of 1939? Most of the info I can find on them picks up with the formation of the airborne units later on.

Flak Platoons in Panzer Battalions
I have been reviewing the constantly changing German organizations of their Panzer Regiments. I have used the WWIIdaybyday website and some books I have they all show that in 1944 a flak platoon of Flakpanzer IVs with 37mm guns was attached to the regiment. WWIIdaybyday shows that each battalion HQ ...

In it's first form it went to Russia. All but one of the available Ferdinands were put to use in the Battle of Kursk, the first combat the Ferdinand saw. Although they destroyed 320 Russian tanks, they performed quite poorly in other respects. Many units broke down and they proved dangerously vulner...
