The Intelligence Summaries for the II Canadian Corps sometimes contain POW information or information on German units.

Re: Cantigny
I has another great visit to Cantigny. The staff were extremely helpful as usual and my visit was very productive. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a visit, especially in the spring and summer when the gardens are in bloom.

British archives documents
I wanted to give a thank you to Lee Richards at www.arcre.com. I have never made any headway in understanding the contents and extent of material at the British Archives. Lee was kind enough to explain some of the organization of the British records at the BA and I have already started purchasing co...

April 2013 visit to NARA (College Park)
I was able to make another trip to NARA in April, and I thought I would relate my experiences. Since 2013, the largest change is that the hours of operation have changed, due to the sequester. At the time of this writing, there are no evening hours. Formerly, Wed, Thurs and Friday, the archive was o...

Re: Battalion-Company level maps
If I had to guess, you want division level files.
Go to www.sturmpanzer.com and look through the T315 Rxxx index files for the divisions you are interested in. Some of the roll descriptions might indicate which rolls are high priority for you.

The 15th Army maps I have show down to the btl. level,. while the LXXXVIII corps maps shows some Kp. level positions. For the 1942 and 43 period, the number of field command records remai...

I have been informed on the Facebook page of NARA that their new hours will be 9-5 for the forseable future. No more evening hours, thanks to the budget crisis.
