Veteran Accounts of the Tokarev SVT-38/40 in German Service?

Hello, I am looking for veteran accounts or stories of the Russian Tokarev SVT-38/40 semi-automatic rifle in German service during WW2. I am working on a book and would like to use any stories anyone has about the SVT-38/40 in German service. Thanks, Jeff

Re: Ones man's opinion on WWII photograhps

I've been following this conversation, and as a collector of both American and German WWII photos, I agree with Hans. I don't like the people who sell these photos simply to make a profit, they are selling very important pieces of history. But, on the other hand, for each seller, there is a buyer (m...

Re: Ones man's opinion on WWII photograhps

"Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it." I collect WWII photos because my Grandfather was a participant in WWII (8th AF B-17 USAAF), and I am interested in history, not the glorification of war and death and atrocities. WWII happened, and no matter how hard some people try to hid...

I've posted several more photos on the site today. Right now I am just trying to get each section "active". After everything is up and running OK, I will do some editing and work out the bugs.

I will pay an outrageous amount of money for any original photo, press or private showing a G/K-43 semi-auto. Send me PM if you have one.
