Charles Whiting/Leo Kessler (they are the same author)...nothing new and not really full blown bios but fair and readable. I too think there isn't THE bio on Peiper yet...most will gravitate to Agte though... Hum, this is my feeling too you when you said that THE bio on peiper has yet to be written...

I have read Panzer legions months ago and thought it was quite good though not pefect. at least much better that Hitler's legion...
