Hi Forum,
Wilhelm "Bob" Rössler died last month in Hildeheim, Germany.
Bob was the German interpreter on the German staff of the British Free Corps, he was also the only one to fight in Berlin in full BFC insignia in April 1945 (it should be noted that German nationals serving with the unit wore the Union Jack armshields too).
After the war Bob and his wife were always willing to talk about the BFC, and indeed kept in contact with MacLardy when he returned to work in the Rhineland post-war.
Bill Medland.

Hello Bill Medland
Is it possible you could post some more information about Wilhelm Rössler here?
Thanks.

I would be interested in that as well, are there are any transcripts of times he was "willing to talk about the BFC"?1871 wrote:
