Otto Paetsch - DKiG 24.4.1943 - as CO of the Wiking Division's reconnaissance detachment. Two types of signature, in Germanic and 'international' handwriting. Let me know if these are of any use to you and I will furnish publication quality scans.

My father in law Reinhold T. got the GC in Gold during the Ardennenoffensive with his HJ-unit (12. SS-PD). This foto was taken in spring 1943 after being wounded in the caucasus Dec. 24th, 42.

Two other interesting photos. "Guarding the Führer at the new Reichskanzlei" and "Ehrenwache am Grabmal der Gefallenen der Waffen-SS". Yes, Reinhold had a very interesting career. Simply elite like our both families and his third daughter.

Does anyone know where this Grabmal der Gefallenen der Waffen SS was located?
