Post by Niels Henkemans »

I mean the panzer2 version with the 5 wheels. Were there any in Normandy.? And if so, wich units had them? Where did they use them? Where can I find photo's? etc, etc.
Any info appreciated.

panther and tiger in advance ( panther and tigers= tanks -> sounds like thanks)

Most Marders used in Normandy were Marder III and Is, I haven't come across any info about Marder IIs serving in normandie but I wouldn't be surprised if some were there.

You know, I actually found a photo of the vehicle Tamiya used for that box art. I can't remember exactly which book, but if I can find it I'll let you know!

On that note, the Wespe in Koblenz is the exact same as the Tamiya Wespe - it has been restored recently, and you should be able to find a lot of photos of it...

Finally the chance for some ultimate research - go down there and photograph the vehicle through ;)
