In late November '41 Luftflotte 2 was transferred from Army Group Center in Russia to Italy. I presume that there were still air units supporting Army Group Center. So, my question is: What Luftwaffe units remained with Army Group Center in December 1941?
Thanks ....Jerry

Hello Jerry ; a little help.........................
Withdrawal Luftflotte 2.
In a spirit of excesive optimist caused by a period of mild frost, a renewed assault on Moscow was ordered for 17 November 1941. During the first days the weather was actually sunny with only light frosts. After a few days, however, the weather changed abruptly. Fog, snow and low temperatures reduced the operational strenght of the Luftwaffe units, which had already been severely weakened by the withdrawal of the units of the Luftflotte 2. Only the VIII. Fliegerkorps remained in combat zone center........................
VIII. Fliegerkorps with:
Nakafü II (II Close Support Air Commander)
I. Flak-Korps
II. Flak-Korps.
12. Flak-Division.
