Private Message : But none there

Sir,
I received a message from Forum Administration stating I had a private message from "profilicus". However, when I looked on the file nothing there!
Any ideas?

He may have deleted it before you had the chance to read it.

HI, I've also received a message from this member and I had no new message in my private box. Then I looked after this member into the listing of member, and he does'nt exsit.
the message received is:
"Hello spitfire220,
You have received a new private message from "profilicus" to your account
on "Feldgrau.net" with the following subject:
Forum administration
You can view your new message by clicking on the following link:
ucp.php?i=pm&folder=inbox
You have requested that you be notified on this event, remember that you
can always choose not to be notified of new messages by changing the
appropriate setting in your profile.

It sounds as if that might have been someone who joined to spam, but was deleted before he could accomplish any real harm.

Yes indeed. We have to delete 50-60 of these every day now. Sadly "profilicus" got through the net on a PARTICULARLY active day. He has been deleted.
Anyone who ever gets a PM from "Forum Adminstration", please check with the Site Admins - Tom, Jason, or myself.
