Moderators mistakenly closing misplaced threads.....

It has become apparent that some moderators are shutting down some threads placed in the wrong category, rather than transferring them to the appropriate part of the forum.
Could I ask that moderators move misplaced threads to the appropriate area rather than simply shutting them? Otherwise it might be mistaken for surreptitious censorship, which would not be good for Feldgrau's reputation.
