Hello everybody,
I'm searching on request of a french friend, a picture of the emblem of the 346 Infanterie Division. Somebody of your's have it and can posted here. I'm also pleased with a link to it.

Two from Truppenzennzeichen IV

This is what I have from Die Truppenkennzeichen 1939-1945, Vol.4. by Schmitz and Thies (Biblio-Verlag):

The first is a green blooming thistle on a white background. The information regarding this was reported by the French resistance while the Division was in the Dinan area in Brittany in the autumn of 1942.

The second is a white "H" and "Ö" (for the commander of the Feldersatz-Bataillon 345 Hauptmann Hössle). This one was reported by the Dutch Resistance (Mitteilung Theo Schers, Weert/Niederlande, vom 21.7.1987 aus: US-Report Nr. 2-G2, vom 7.2.1945.). It was observed in the area around Moerdijk in November 1944.
