Heer Infantry Squad Tactics and Maneuvers

Post by Dobb »

Hi!

Can anyone tell me how the basic infantry squad react to the enemy?And how is the deployment?And what weapons were issued other than basic firearms like Kar98k and MP40s,Who were issued Panzerfaust/Shreck?How many men in a squad?

Well,in short,formation,weapons issued to whom,specialty of different squad,squad size and maneuverability and so forth as I'm researching on the squad levels.

Thanks.

Hello

Here is an article for my planed section about tactics and training on my site which tells you basics about the Gruppe.

For deployment of weapons and more organisational infos have a look into the various KStN on my site.

Much work but I think it will be interesting.

Interesting dosn't cover it, mate. Excellent stuff. Are you getting this from wartime manuals, or other sources?
All armies can be divided into two parts:
1. Infantry;
2. Support arms.
