Of course this is NOT Oberstlt. Dipl. Ing. Herbert Baumgart, Kommandeur of II./PanzerRegiment 3, KIA on the same day/night in Biskupice Radłowskie about 40 km W of Radomyśl.
Franz Joseph Strauss - who participated in the battle of Biskupice Radłowskie - in his book "Friedens und kriegserlebnisse einer generation" writes:

"Poles with contempt of death defend the bridgehead Biskupice - Radlow. Their AT guns are hitting our tanks from the closest distance. Their soldiers are throwing hand grenades into openings of our tanks and are even jumping into our tanks with bunches of grenades in their hands."

Incomplete list of KIA from I. battalion of Pz.Rgt.3 in the battle of Wysoka (list of KIA from 3. Kp. is complete - for 1. Kp. it's most probably incomplete, there is no info on number of KIA in other units of the battalion):

There is no info about mortal casualties of II./Pz.Rgt.3 so far.

Pz.Rgt.4 (which advanced in the 2nd echelon behind Pz.Rgt.3) suffered 2 KIA and 9 WIA.

No info on losses of other units of 2. Pz.Div. in those combats.
