Hi all
In a not specified date, towards the beginning of 1940 some hundreds (250÷400) polish-jewish soldiers, captured by Wehrmacht, were transferred from Lipowa camp in Lublin to Parczew. Along the road they were shooting near Lubartow (villages of Palecznica and/or Julipol and/or Niedzwiada – it depends on the sources).
This occourred probably on January or February 1940.
As the date is important to “identify” the unit involved in the massacre, is there anyone who knows the precise date of the slaughters?
Some of the infos comes from Wojna, okupacja, wyzwolenie. Lubartów 1939-1949 by Ryszard Jacek Dumało. Do you have more details about this book?
