SS-Police regimental numbering system:

Post by Joe AVENT »

I have read that the next to last numbered police rifle regiment is number 38 and then it skips all the way to number 50(?). I am not able to arrive at a logical conclusion as to why the disparity. If anybody can shed some light I would be quite appreciative.

This seems like a logical answer since the Germans are methodical in their numbering assignments. Thanks again!
