Hello to all :D; another one........................

Collision of U 34 (Type VII A)!.

U 34 sank on August 5, 1943 at 9:55 p.m., as a training U-boat, in the Baltic Sea off Memel after a collision with the German U-boat tender ship LECH. She was raised on August 24, 1943 and towed to the dock of the Lindau shipyard. There the submersible was put out of service on September 08, 1943. U 34 was then to be towed to the west, but on the way she sank off Warnemünde at position 54 ° 20.5 'north-12 ° 04.5' east. She was recovered by the GDR in April 1953 and scrapped at the Volkswerft in Stralsund. As a result of the event, four crew members perished (Doreis, Johannes; Heger, Rudolf; Nöthling, Karl and Wiegelmann, Johannes). At the time the boat was in command of Leutnant zur See Eduard Aust.

Hello to all :D; another one...............................

Collision of U 46 (Type VII B)!.

U 46, under Oberleutnant zur See Engelbert Endrass, left Lorient on September 20, 1940. Following the repair of immersion cell 5 at St. Nazaire, the U-boat operated in the North Atlantic and Vizcaya. On September 27, 1940, two men drowned after going overboard in the North Atlantic. After colliding with a merchant ship, the patrol had to end early. After 9 days, U 46 returned to St. Nazaire on September 29, 1940.

Is this patrol the one shown in the photos below?
