I was wondering, could you do some coloring on this picture: http://the.crazycatman.eu/uploads/ardvf125_vars.jpg.
This might be a great help for my rebuild project of an Ardie VF125 like the one on the picture.

Thanks Sebastian.
It really helps when the photo has crisp and clear details like the denim/cotton tunic photo has.
A nice KM wedding portrait I did a while ago.

I am posting a colorized photo of the 11 TH Field Artillery Battery in 1937 at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. I am only doing this because you can see how far coloring photos has come. I have one more of a Coastal Gun again colorized in 1937.

Your efforts are outstanding, you have a GREAT skill and talent for doing this, not everyone can do this.

This is another example of very early efforts to colorize military photographs. Again I only post this that one can truly appreciate how far we have come and what an outstanding job you have done.

Thanks for all the kind words.
My mother used to colorize photos for a living when I was young.
In those days she did this by hand. I used to watch her doing it and she was very good at it.
Of course these days with computers and applications such as Photoshop etc. the colors are much
more vibrant and realistic. I use Photoshop 8 CS to color my photos.

Here is a photo of a Wanderer W 11 which belonged to the 6 Geb. Division.

I finished this photo two weeks ago and it depicts a flak emplacement of Flak Rgt. 11. The city of Orel is in the background.

Dear Larry,

I am going to say it again, WELL DONE and you really have a gift and talent for doing this. It truly is a form of art, believe me.

I wouldn't be able keep in the lines if I tried to color like we did as a children.

Your work looks so natural and correct you should be proud.
Sincerely yours,

I visited your blog and enjoyed it very much.
I have not attempted to color naval photos and I really like your Yamato and USS Enterprise colorizations.
Keep up the good work! :D

Here is another wedding portrait photo I colored some time ago.
