Does anyone know of any published or web-based accounts of Luftwaffe pilots in cold weather? I am particularly interested in problems experienced by Ju-52 pilots during the Stalingrad and Demyansk airlifts. Joel Haywood's "Stopped at Stalingrad" is a great operational overview, but the book does not really examine the particular problems posed by cold in very great detail.
Most of the published first-person accounts I have read, with the exception of Rudel, deal with fighter pilots. Are there any others published in English that I am not aware of?
All help is sincerely appreciated.

Well there's Peter Stahl book-Diving Eagle.I've read the Finnish translation of original Kampfflieger Zwischen Eismeer und Sahara. The Finnish translation is without Battle of Britain and North Africa chapters.
Stahl flew the JU-88 in Norway,North Finland and in Russia.
And there is Konrad Knabe Das Auge Dietls but its only in Germany and Finnish.
Cheers/Juha
