Hi all,
I need some info about the Leibstandarte before the war, particularly in the mid-1930's. What would a recruit's life and career path have looked like? Particularly interested in the following:
Length of training
Duties or assignments immediately upon completion of training
Particularly interested with regards to men who would have served in the SS in Munich and surrounding areas
Finally, I'm showing my ignorance here, but would they have been required to live at the barracks or return home under certain circumstances?
Best,
Aubrey
